Coaching for humans in eating disorder or disordered eating recovery / remission
What is recovery coaching?
✔ 1:1 virtual eating disorder recovery coaching
✔ Coaching for individuals struggling with any eating disorder diagnosis, disordered eating, body-image challenges, and the gray areas of recovery.
✔ Our work is meant to supplement the work you are doing with a therapist and/or dietician. I will most likely require that you are working with at least one of these other professionals. This will be discussed during the free consult call to make sure I am the best fit for you, your needs, and your experience.
✔ In a coaching relationship: I’m able to meet you where you are at, provide guidance in the grey areas, and be another person in your circle to help you reach your recovery/remission goals

Fave quotes + my own words
“There are outer mountains and inner mountains. Their very presence beckons to us, calls us to ascend. Perhaps the full teaching of a mountain is that you carry the whole mountain inside yourself, the outer one as well as the inner. And sometimes you search and search for the mountain without finding it until the time comes when you are sufficiently motivated and prepared to find a way through, first to the base, then to the summit.
The arduous difficulties we encounter along the way embody the very challenges we need in order to stretch ourselves and thereby expand our boundaries.
In the end, it is life itself which is the mountain, the teacher, serving us up perfect opportunities to do the inner work of growing in strength and wisdom. And we have a lot of learning and growing to do once we choose to make the journey.”

Be your own sun.
Your own compass.
Find your own North.
For doing these things will help set you free.

“Please be gentle with your body.
It loves you more than anyone or anything in this world.
It fixes every cut, every wound, every broken bone, and fights off so many illnesses, sometimes without you even knowing about it.
Even when you punish it,
it is still there for you,
struggling to keep you alive,
keep you breathing.
Your body is an ocean full of love.
So please, be kind to it.
It’s doing the very best it can.”

Keep finding,
following,
seeking out a light.
The light source,
hold it tight.
Remember it’s power —
to ground you,
to provide hope,
to provide a feeling of safety.
For even when the light gets dim,
turns off for a moment or moments,
you will have the memory to hold tight until it shines brighter again.
Find a light.
Let it help you.
Keeping following it.

“One day you will awake with the craving for self discovery. When this knowing arrives, and you feel the pull to go out into the world, my hope for you is that your story begins on the cool wood of your kitchen floor.
My hope for you is that you trust the teachings of what brings discomfort. That when you feel as if you are at the cusp of breaking open, out into the wild of the unknown, you step forward with both feet planted in your curiosity and wonder.
My hope for you is that you honor each moment in its entirety. That you choose your feeling over being numb + disconnected. Owning every curve of life’s light and shadow sensations. For you understand that in the present moment is where your happiness is found.”
